The 90-day tariff pause is coming to an end and President Donald Trump hinted Friday that countries will be notified of the new rates soon.

Trump was in the United Arab Emirates where he said his administration was not able to meet with everyone country to discuss new reciprocal tariffs, but Treasury Secretary Scott Bessentand Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick will be notifying countries “what they will be paying to do business in the United States,” Trump said, per The Hill.

“So at a certain point over the next two to three weeks, I think Scott and Howard will be sending letters out essentially telling people — and we’ll be very fair — but we’ll be telling people what they will be paying to do business in the United States,” Trump said.

“I guess you could say they could appeal it, but for the most part i think we’re going to be very fair,” he continued. “But it’s not possible to meet the number of people that want to see us.”

The U.S. imposed a 10% tariff on all foreign imports. He also issued reciprocal tariffs on dozens of countries that “had larger trade imbalances with the U.S.,” the outlet reported.

Some of the countries most affected are South Korea, Japan, the European Union and China.

Trump granted a reprieve of sorts by instituting a 90-day pause on these tariffs so deals could be negotiated.

He has also imposed tariffs on various industries, such as automobile imports and steel and aluminum imports.
