Democrat Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett posted a lengthy video of herself to social media on Monday where she made the tragic flash floods in Central Texas about herself.

Crockett said that she is personally getting hurt and will continue to be weighed down by trying hard to “survive” under President Donald Trump’s administration. Following the deaths of 27 children from the flood in her state, Crockett also took time in the post to point out her new haircut.

“My heart is truly heavy for all of these families,” Crockett said. “The sad part is, I think that my heart is going to carry a level of weight that will continue to weigh me down as we have to continue to do our best to survive in an administration that literally is against us. An administration that is doing everything, in my mind, to hurt us and not help us. And it feels like we are fending for ourselves and no one should feel that way.”

The Texas congresswoman then gave a personal shoutout to her hairdresser about her new bob. “Edit: My staff said y’all are commenting about my BOB! Thank you @jacorean_ for orchestrating the look,” Crockett wrote, followed by a kissing emoji.

Crockett further complained about how lawmakers have little “independence” because of Trump and the Supreme Court.

While Crockett was busy talking about herself and her haircut, the death toll in the area reached 111 as of Wednesday, while over 170 people remained missing. The rising waters washed away a countless number of cabins that were largely occupied for the Fourth of July weekend.

The Guadalupe River rose 26 feet within 45 minutes at around 4:00 a.m. on Friday, while most people in the area were sleeping. At Camp Mystic, an all-girls Christian camp, the youngest campers slept just 225 feet away from where the river rapidly rose, according to the New York Post.

Along with the at least 27 children who died at Camp Mystic, ten campers and one counselor remained missing. Among the victims at the camp were eight-year-olds Sarah Marsh, Renee Smajstrla and Anna Margaret Bellows, along with nine-year-olds Lila Bonner and Janie Hunt.

Chloe Childress, a 19-year-old camp counselor, was also among the victims who died in the floods. Her family said she will be remembered for her “contagious joy, unending grace and abiding faith.”

Trump signed a disaster declaration on Sunday to authorize federal relief and recovery assistance in the area. He and first lady Melania Trump plan to visit the areas on Friday to assess the damages.
