The Trump White House is taking its message straight to the phones of millions of Americans — via TikTok.

In a bold digital move, the administration launched its official TikTok account on Tuesday, tapping into a platform with over 150 million U.S. users to boost President Donald Trump’s messaging and political outreach, according to the Daily Wire.

The move comes after Trump’s stunning 2024 election victory over Democrat Kamala Harris, where he credited the viral video app as a key tool for connecting with young voters.

“The Trump administration is committed to communicating the historic successes President Trump has delivered to the American people with as many audiences and platforms as possible,” said White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt as the official account went live.

Though past intelligence assessments have raised concerns about TikTok’s ties to the Chinese government — warning that it “could be used to influence Americans” — the Trump administration is forging ahead, betting big on the platform’s unmatched reach and cultural clout.

“President Trump’s message dominated TikTok during his presidential campaign, and we’re excited to build upon those successes and communicate in a way no other administration has before,” Leavitt added.

According to a White House official, the account — @whitehouse — kicked off Tuesday evening and is specifically designed to “communicate the president’s policies” directly to the American people.

The launch represents yet another digital-first strategy from a president who’s never shied away from unconventional communication tactics — and who’s now turning the most controversial app in America into a megaphone for his second-term agenda.
