Well, it finally happened — the Left’s favorite playgrounds might actually have to answer for the monsters they’re helping to create.
In a move that already has Silicon Valley execs shifting uncomfortably in their bean bag chairs, Rep. James Comer has dropped a political bombshell: the CEOs of Discord, Steam, Twitch, and Reddit have been summoned to Capitol Hill. Why? Because the internet is no longer just where your nephew streams Minecraft — it’s where radicals are openly calling for violence, and no one’s stopping them.
This isn’t a drill. This is about Charlie Kirk’s assassination.
A conservative activist. A father. A husband. Gunned down while speaking at a college campus.
And now, the uncomfortable question hangs in the air like smoke: how did no one see it coming?
Actually — they did.
According to the FBI’s own deputy director, Dan Bongino, the shooter wasn’t some random lone wolf. He was talking. He was posting. He was engraving bullets with political messages like “hey fascist! CATCH!” — and yes, that’s as twisted as it sounds. This wasn’t some heat-of-the-moment thing. It was deliberate. Calculated. And disturbingly public.
But guess where all this was happening?
Not in dark alleyways or secret meeting rooms. On Discord. On Reddit. On Twitch chats. These aren’t just social platforms anymore — they’re breeding grounds for political extremism… as long as it’s the right kind of extremism.
Because if the killer had posted a single meme that hinted at being pro-Trump? He’d be on an FBI watchlist faster than you can say “January 6th.” But instead, he was a left-leaning, transgender-adjacent, ideology-soaked extremist — and the internet shrugged. If anything, some users on social media even celebrated Kirk’s death.
Let that sink in.
We live in a country where a conservative speaker is murdered and the online reaction from certain circles is applause, not outrage. And now we’re supposed to believe that Big Tech didn’t know anything? That there were no signals? No red flags?
That’s what Comer wants to get to the bottom of — and rightfully so. Because while Discord tries to sound all mature and responsible, saying they “welcome the opportunity to testify,” the silence from Steam, Reddit, and Twitch is deafening. Maybe they’re too busy moderating “hate speech” from moms at school board meetings to notice the radicalized killers growing in their forums.
BREAKING
I’m calling on the CEOs of Discord, Steam, Twitch, & Reddit to testify at an Oversight Committee hearing on October 8.
The hearing will examine the radicalization of online forum users, including instances of open incitement to commit politically motivated acts.

And here’s the kicker: President Trump called it. Again.
In an interview with the Daily Caller, he laid it out plainly: this killer was radicalized online — by the Left. And for all the Left’s pearl-clutching over “misinformation,” they sure don’t mind when the radicalization serves their narrative.
Just like they didn’t mind when BLM rioters torched cities. Just like they didn’t mind when Antifa thugs battered police. Just like they didn’t mind when a Bernie supporter tried to assassinate Republican congressmen on a baseball field.
But let one conservative dare to ask questions, and suddenly you’re on a DHS watchlist.
So, what happens when these tech CEOs are actually forced to explain their policies? Their content moderation choices? Their role in a politically motivated murder? That’s the conversation nobody wants to have — but Comer just kicked the door wide open.
This hearing could change everything.
Because if these platforms are as negligent as they seem, they won’t just be part of the story — they’ll be part of the crime.
And if Congress follows the trail all the way to the top?
Let’s just say: the woke internet may finally have to answer for what it’s helped unleash.
