SiriusXM’s Megyn Kelly condemned fired MSNBC host Joy Reid on “Pod Force One” on Wednesday over her racism.
Reid has a reputation of being race-obsessed and biased against President Donald Trump and other conservatives. Kelly predicted on the podcast that Reid’s independent podcast would ultimately be unsuccessful because of her toxicity.
WATCH:
“Joy Reid is an insane lunatic who’s truly, honestly, extremely racist. She’s never seen a white person who she likes. The only people who have a possibility of being liked by Joy Reid, if they’re white, are people who will openly subjugate themselves to her,” Kelly said. “Tell her how smart she is. Tell her they believe her Harvard degree was real and pretend that they’re somehow less than because she’s the be-all end-all, because that’s what she wants us to believe.”
“So if you don’t go along with those lies, she doesn’t like you. It’s why she likes [MSNBC host] Nicole Wallace, people like that,” she continued. “And Joy Reid is going to fail in the independent lane because she’s too toxic.”
Reid went on an anti-white rant for over four minutes during an August livestream on her “Welcome to Joy’s House!” Substack.
“They can’t originally invent anything more than they ever were able to invent good music … when you tell them you don’t have to be excellent, you just have to be white, you will get mediocrity … because they’re not asking white people to be great,” she said.
“They’re telling white people a lie so that they will believe that they have achieved when all they’re doing is thieving greatness from other people,” she added. “And I actually think that is a shame for white America because if you raised your kids that way, you would get brats. You would get monsters. You would get demons you don’t even want at Thanksgiving. But we’re raising an America that is mediocre on purpose because we don’t want to tell Donald Trump that he is a fucking failure. But he is!”
Reid also criticized white women in November 2024 for largely supporting Trump over former Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 election. MSNBC canceled her primetime show, “The ReidOut,” in February.
