Oh, look. Another “mystery” discovery the Secret Service just happens to stumble upon—this time it’s a suspicious hunting stand with a direct line of sight to President Trump’s Air Force One arrival zone. Right across from Palm Beach International Airport. Right where Trump would be visible. Right when he’s flying in for the weekend. Total coincidence, right? Sure.
Let’s pause for a second and take this in: A sniper’s perch—because let’s be honest, what else do you call a “hunting stand” with a view of the presidential tarmac—was found close enough to watch Trump disembark like it’s the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. But the feds are rushing to reassure us, “No individuals were present or involved at the location.” Oh good. It’s just the perch—not the person. Nothing to see here, folks. Just a chair in the sky, pointed at the President of the United States.
What kind of country are we living in where this story doesn’t instantly explode into wall-to-wall national coverage?
Let’s rewind a bit. Trump’s had two confirmed assassination attempts in the past year alone. One of them at a campaign rally where he was literally shot at. Another while golfing in Florida. And now we find a sniper’s nest yards away from his landing zone—and the media’s just… shrugging?
Imagine for one moment—just one—if this were Joe Biden. Imagine a suspicious structure aimed at Air Force One while he’s about to touch down. Sirens would be blaring from MSNBC to TikTok. The words “domestic terror” would be on every chyron before the coffee got cold. Congressional hearings would already be underway.
But when it’s Trump? A conservative president who’s not exactly beloved by the Beltway elites? We get statements like, “There was no impact to any movements.” Oh, well thank goodness for that. What a relief.

So the FBI steps in. Great. The same FBI that’s become more famous lately for dragging pro-life grandmas out of their homes than for stopping actual violence. They’re going to lead the investigation. Because they’ve just done such a stellar job securing Trump in the past. Right? Hopefully, with the new leadership, we’ll get some answers.
You see, this isn’t just about a physical structure near an airport. It’s about a slow-drip normalization of threats—very real, very violent threats—against one political figure in America. And let’s not pretend it’s an “all sides” thing. It’s not.
Trump’s faced a barrage of threats, arrests, and attempts that would’ve had entire agencies reorganized under different leadership if he were a Democrat. But because he’s not, we get muted headlines and law enforcement statements designed to pacify instead of provoke. “Don’t worry,” they say, “we found it in time.” Cool. But what about next time?
In Pennsylvania, a 20-year-old opened fire from a rooftop. A rooftop. In Florida, another man hid in shrubbery, hoping to catch Trump on the golf course. And now… a hunting stand. The pattern here is not subtle.
And yet, media outlets—beyond a quick report from Fox—barely touch it. Some still bury the word “assassination attempt” in the sixth or seventh paragraph like it’s a spicy footnote, not the lede.
Let’s be clear: If political violence becomes acceptable when aimed at people you don’t like, this country is finished. We don’t need another sternly worded memo from the FBI. We need a reckoning on why certain lives—and certain leaders—don’t seem to trigger the same level of institutional panic.
Ask yourself: how many near-misses does it take before one lands?
And when it does… who exactly do you think is going to be held accountable?
Because so far, it sure doesn’t look like anyone’s sweating.
