It’s playoff season — and tempers are flaring in Philly.

In a fiery sideline moment that lit up social media, Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni and star wide receiver A.J. Brown got into a heated confrontation during Sunday’s NFC Wild Card matchup at Lincoln Financial Field.

FOX cameras caught the clash live: Sirianni sprinted down the sideline, clearly furious, yelling for Brown to get off the field to avoid a too-many-men penalty. Brown wasn’t having it. The veteran wideout snapped back, jawing at his coach as tensions escalated — until Eagles security chief “Big Dom” DiSandro had to step in and separate the two.

The moment sparked instant speculation across the league.

While the FOX broadcast team and sideline reporter Erin Andrews later downplayed the spat — with Sirianni chalking it up to their “fiery” relationship — the scene added yet another chapter to what’s been a rocky season between A.J. Brown and the Eagles’ offensive staff.

Brown, who barely broke the 1,000-yard mark this season with 1,003 yards and 7 touchdowns, has aired frustrations publicly more than once over the team’s inconsistent offensive performance.

Should the Eagles address reported tensions between A.J. Brown and the coaching staff?

Offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo has faced fan backlash for the unit’s lack of rhythm, despite Philly clinching the NFC East title and locking down the No. 3 seed.

Even with a playoff berth secured, cracks in the chemistry are hard to ignore.

Brown’s production dropped off noticeably in key games late in the season. While Sunday’s game is still unfolding, he ended the first half with just three catches for 25 yards, a stat line unlikely to satisfy one of the NFL’s most vocal and competitive receivers.

Eagles fans have seen this movie before — high expectations, internal tension, and the question of whether team unity can hold under postseason pressure. For now, the Eagles will try to keep it together. But the Sirianni-Brown blowup is a clear signal: something’s boiling in Philly.
