The bad news is the world lost actor James Van Der Beek.
But for a few moments on a U.K. radio show, the news was reversed, E! News reported.
Pussycat Dolls alum Ashley Roberts announced Van Dyke, 100, had died. Van Der Beek died Feb. 11 at 48 from colorectal cancer.

Her cohost Jamie Theakston quickly corrected her.
“Not Dick Van Dyke,” he said. “Come on, if you’re going to do a sensitive moment, if you’re going to do an obituary, you can’t just say Dick Van Dyke.”
Theakston confirmed the “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” and “Mary Poppins” star, is “very much still with us.”
“He’s 100 years old,” Roberts said. “Oh my gosh, we’ve spoken about this. I’m so sorry.”
Van Dyke recently not Ed how vibrant he felt stating he feels “like I’m about 13.”
“I feel really good for 100,” Van Dyke told People. “Sometimes I have more energy than others—but I never wake up in a bad mood.”
Van Der Beek‘s friends and family are reeling from the loss.
