Sirius XM’s Megyn Kelly accused Fox News weekend host Mark Levin on Monday of begging President Donald Trump to make a nice statement about him following their online feud.
Trump praised Levin as a “truly Great American Patriot” on Truth Social after Kelly and Levin harshly attacked one another online over the weekend. Kelly said on “The Megyn Kelly Show” that Levin had Trump publicly praise him because he was too cowardly to fight his own battle, though Levin denied ever talking to Trump before he released the statement.
“Rather than dealing with it like a man by making a joke about it, ignoring it, rushing me back to the plate, he actually ran to the President of the United States. He ran to Donald Trump and had Trump send out a nice tweet about him last night. And it was a ridiculous tweet for now the president is now getting blowback because he does not have the finger on the pulse of where his party is right now, which is very unusual for Trump.” Kelly said. ” This is very strange. It’s very strange that Mark Levin couldn’t fight his own battle.”
The fight began on Saturday when Levin accused Kelly of being “evil” and “diabolical” over her views on Israel, which prompted Kelly to brand Levin as “Micropenis Mark.” Kelly further accused Levin of repeatedly attacking her to the extent that she felt someone’s life could wound up in danger.
“Poor Megyn Kelly. An emotionally unhinged, lewd, and petulant wreck. She’s completely revealed and destroyed herself. She’s everything people say she is, but much worse. Never an intelligent, thoughtful, or substantive comment. Utterly toxic,” Levin said.
“Micropenis Mark @marklevinshow thinks he has the monopoly on lewd. He tweets about me obsessively in the crudest, nastiest terms possible. Literally more than some stalkers I’ve had arrested. He doesn’t like it when women like me fight back. Bc of his micropenis,” Kelly responded.
Kelly stated that Levin’s attack entitled her to make a “below-the-belt punch” against him. She added that Levin has been stalking her and that she could potentially get a restraining order.
“When they go low, we go micropenis,” Kelly continued. “That’s the way it’s going to be, at least in so far as that bully is concerned. And sure enough, he didn’t know what to do. He went crying to the president who’s running a war right now, not to mention the country, it’s crazy that this happened.”
Levin repeatedly defended Operation Epic Fury, a U.S. and Israeli military operation that launched strikes on Iran and killed Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Trump received harsh criticism from Kelly and many other conservatives for the current conflict in Iran.
Kelly argued on March 2 that the fallen American troops died for Israel rather than their own country. She also argued Trump had not presented a strong argument for U.S. involvement in Iran, arguing that this was “Israel’s war.”
Trump stated that the conservatives battling with Levin are not truly part of the MAGA movement.
“Mark Levin, a truly Great American Patriot, is somewhat under siege by other people with far less Intellect, Capability, and Love for our Country,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “Mark is Tough, Strong, and Brilliant, hence the nickname, ‘THE GREAT ONE,’ conceived by our MAGA friend, the wonderful Sean Hannity, after years of dealing with Mark in Legal, Media, and other capacities … When you hear others unfairly attack Mark, remember that they are jealous and angry Human Beings, whose ‘sway’ is much less than the Public understands, and will, now that they know where I stand, rapidly diminish.”
Kelly stated that Trump will destroy his own coalition if he continues to take sides with Levin.
