Controversial comedian Druski is facing backlash over a new viral skit where he dressed up as Erika Kirk, the widow of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. Critics are calling the bit “disgusting” and “completely disrespectful,” arguing it targets a woman who is still grieving.

In the video, which has pulled in more than 40 million views, Druski appears in a white suit with a blonde wig, blue contact lenses, and lightened skin. The sketch, titled “How Conservative Women in America Act,” pokes fun at Erika Kirk and broader conservative media figures.

The skit opens with his character dancing amid pyrotechnics in a parody of Charlie Kirk’s memorial service. He then shifts into a mock press briefing, answering questions about the Iran war in a style reminiscent of White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt. At one point, he mimics Erika Kirk’s body language from a CBS News town hall, exaggerating the intense stare that had already drawn criticism online.

Druski, whose real name is Drew Desbordes, also delivers satirical lines about religion and politics before cutting to scenes of the character ordering an organic “pup cup” and struggling through a Pilates class.

While many fans found the video funny, others saw it as crossing a line.

“This is too far… You’re making fun of Erika Kirk, whose husband was brutally assassinated. This ain’t it,” conservative commentator Jon Root wrote on X.

Others echoed the sentiment, questioning why Druski chose someone so recently bereaved as the focus of the joke.

The comedian has drawn criticism before. Earlier this year, he was called out for mispronouncing NFL player Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s name during an awards show. He later said he tried to apologize but never heard back.
