According to the New York Post, sources say Corey Lewandowski has taken on a central role in managing the response to the backlash tied to allegations involving Noem’s husband, Bryon Noem.
The situation escalated after a report from the Daily Mail alleged that Bryon had shared photos and messages within an online fetish community, including images of himself wearing exaggerated, fake features.
The report quickly ignited widespread attention and added pressure to an already difficult moment for Noem.
Insiders told The Post that Lewandowski is now acting as a key strategist, helping shape how Noem responds publicly while also mapping out a potential political comeback.
It’s a role he has played before. During Noem’s time leading the Department of Homeland Security, Lewandowski held an influential, though unofficial, advisory position.
The two have remained closely connected, both personally and professionally, according to reports.
Some Republican strategists familiar with Noem’s circle have floated a controversial theory — that the leak itself may have been intentional.
