The Donald J. Trump International Airport is one step closer to taking off after a new logo was unveiled Tuesday.
Eric Trump posted the new logo for the Palm Beach, Florida, airport on X.
“For the first time, I am extremely proud to share the OFFICIAL logo for the Donald J. Trump International Airport in Palm Beach, Florida. There is no person more deserving of this incredible honor than @realDonaldTrump! Congratulations Dad! Looking forward to seeing flights landing at ‘DJT’ very very soon!” the president’s son wrote.
The logo showcases an eagle holding two olive branches. There is also a crest shield over the bird’s body with stars and stripes.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a bill in March to rename Palm Beach International Airport to “Donald J. Trump International Airport.”
The renaming, which still needs approval by the Federal Aviation Administration, would take effect in July.
The renaming was first proposed in January.
The Trump administration has already filed trademarks connected to the airport name after the bill was OK’d by the Florida Legislature.
