Several apartment buildings went up in flames in Hong Kong, killing at least 14 people.
The massive fire occurred in the Hong Kong’s northern Tai Po district Wednesday, Reuters reported.
Firefighters struggled too get the fire under control as it spread through multiple high-rise residential blocks.
The cause of the blaze is currently not known.

Intense heat and strong winds were a concern for firefighters as they tried to reach the top floors.
The fire started in the Wang Fuk Court housing complex, which has 2,000 residential apartments comprising eight blocks.
The Fire Services Department it did not yet have an exact number of people who might still be inside the buildings.
A resident with the last name of Wong, 71, was in tears because his wife was trapped inside one of the buildings.
One of those killed was a firefighter, the director of Fire Services said. More than 16 people are hurt.
The fire department said it received reports of the fire at 2:51 p.m. By 6:22 p.m. it had been upgraded to a No. 5 alarm, the highest in the city.
