“The View” co-host Joy Behar claims President Joe Biden’s reaction to jokes about him reveals something important about his mental state.
During a segment of the show Monday, the panel discussed the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
“I also was impressed with Joe Biden, his response to the material,” Behar began.
She continued, “Which you pointed out, Ana, that it was funny stuff. But when they were trashing him, or roasting him rather, he was laughing his head off — which shows you that he’s mentally stable.”
“As opposed to years ago if you remember when Obama took a shot at — a joke — at Trump,” Behar added.
A side-by-side comparison of former President Donald Trump’s reaction when then-President Barack Obama poked fun at him during the 2011 White House Correspondents’ Dinner then flashed on the screen.
“Look, there’s the difference,” Behar said.

During the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday, comedian Trevor Noah roasted Biden.
“I think everyone will agree that it’s actually nice to have a president who’s not afraid to come to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner and hear jokes about himself,” Noah said.
He continued, “I’ll be honest if you didn’t come, I totally would have understood because these people have been so hard on you. Which I don’t get. I really don’t. I think ever since you’ve come into office, things are really looking up.”
“Gas is up. Rent is up. Food is up. Everything,” he added.

Biden was seen laughing heartily in response to the joke.
However, his response did not go over well with conservatives who argued that jokes about rising prices are not a laughing matter.
