From stories about betrayals by the First Family to a critical account of how President Donald Trump conducts foreign policy to allegations the president has been compromised by Russia, this year has been replete with books that paint a damning picture of the country’s commander in chief.
Now, Tara Reade, a former Senate staffer who worked for former Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden in the 1990s, is releasing a book about the “aftermath of the re-victimization of speaking out about her sexual assault.”
The book is titled, “Left Out: When The Truth Doesn’t Fit In.”
In April, Reade came forward with a decade’s old complaint, as she alleged that Biden sexually assaulted her in 1993 while he was still a senator.
A description of the book reads, “Tara-rized viciously by cyber bullies, receiving death threats and fearing for her life and those of her family, Tara tells how living with no regret and coming forward was right for her conscious.”
In a statement, the former vice president denied Reade’s allegation, “I recognize my responsibility to be a voice, an advocate, and a leader for the change in culture that has begun but is nowhere near finished. So I want to address allegations by a former staffer that I engaged in misconduct 27 years ago.”
“They aren’t true. This never happened,” the statement added.
After Biden’s denial, Reade blasted Democrats and accused several prominent politicians of engaging in a double-standard.
She noted that Democrats were quick to believe Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, who leveled a sexual assault allegation against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh during his 2018 confirmation hearing, but said they believed Biden’s denial.
“It makes me upset, it makes me angry, because those were people I respected, some of which I voted for or worked with in some capacity,” she said.
Reade specifically pointed to Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), “I supported Elizabeth Warren, who basically said she believed Joe Biden and just dismissed me.”

The book is scheduled to be published on Oct. 27, just one week before election day.
The book also has a forward by actress and activist Rose McGowan, who notably said she believed Reade’s allegations. McGowan has also blasted Biden and the Democratic Party in recent days, calling them “monsters” and “frauds.”
