President Joe Biden was caught asking if he was “allowed” to face questions from reporters.

During an event on Monday, Biden was seen asking, “Am I allowed to take any questions?”

Those in attendance starting laughing.

However, Biden turned around looking for his staff, and asked, “Anybody here? Staff?”

In response, a staffer shut down the prospect of question by simply saying, “Thank you, press.”

And the live stream was cut off.

The moment comes as Biden is seeking to combat deep concerns about his age ahead of the 2024 election.
