President Joe Biden triggered an avalanche of speculation about his health after a story he told during a speech that was meant to focus on climate change.
On Wednesday, Biden told a story about growing up and oil slicks on windshields.
“Guess what, the first frost, you know what was happening, you had to put on your windshield wipers to get literally the oil slick off the window,” the president said.
He added, “That’s why I and so damn many other people I grew up with have cancer. And why for the longest time, Delaware had the highest cancer rate in the nation.”

Maybe Joe Biden meant to say that he, himself is a cancer to America.

Glenn Kessler, a fact checker for The Washington Post tweeted, “How dumb is this tweet? Check out Biden’s medical report. Before he became president, he’d had non-melanoma skin cancers removed.”
How dumb is this tweet? Check out Biden's medical report. Before he became president, he'd had non-melanoma skin cancers removed. Has no one at @RNCResearch ever had this common procedure? https://t.co/TS9VWtKcYC https://t.co/itklkVZIor

However, some Twitter users pointed out that the report says the skin cancer was from spending “a good deal of time in the sun in his youth” and that the cancers were removed before he entered the White House.
