Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden is urging President Donald Trump to show the American people his tax returns.
The two went head-to-head during the last presidential debate on Thursday night in Nashville, Tenn.
Trump claimed during the debate that he is under audit by the Internal Revenue Service — a claim he has made for years. Biden took aim at the president, urging him to release his taxes.
“He’s been saying this for four years. Show us, just show us, stop playing around,” Biden said. “You’ve been saying for four years you’re going to release your taxes.”
The former vice president then claimed that Trump. is either “not paying your taxes” or “you’re paying taxes that are so low.”

During the debate, Biden also claimed he has never “taken a penny from a foreign source ever” in his life.
Biden blasted Trump over recent reports that he maintains a bank account in China, as CNN reported.
The former vice president then turned to Trump’s tax returns, noting he himself has released 22 years of tax returns.
“You have not released a single solitary year of your tax return,” Biden directed at Trump. “What are you hiding? Why are you unwilling?”
