Country singer Billy Ray Cyrus has filed for divorce from Firerose after seven months of marriage.
The news was first reported by TMZ.
The court documents cite irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct for divorce. Cyrus is also seeking an annulment due to fraud, People reported.
Cyrus, 62, filed for divorce from the 37-year-old singer, whose real name is Johanna Rose Hodges, in Nashville on May 22.
The couple got married in October 2023.
They got engaged in August 2022 and met on the set of “Hannah Montana,” per TMZ.
They began writing songs together during the COVID-19 pandemic, People reported.
According to TMZ, this was Cyrus’ third marriage.
He was married to Cindy Smith from 1986 until 1991. He was then married Tish Cyrus for 30 years.
They had three kids, Miley, Braison and Noah. Tish Cyrus filed for divorce in April 2022.
