President Donald Trump has said he will make a decision regarding the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel and whether to join the fray in an effort to eliminate its nuclear program “within two weeks.”
According to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, Trump specified that he will be taking his time to make a decision.
“I have a message directly from the president – ‘based on the fact that there’s a substantial chance of negotiations that may or may not take place with Iran in the near future, I will make my decision whether or not to go within the next two weeks,'” Leavitt said.

In another clip, a reporter can be seen asking Leavitt to further clarify Trump’s remarks and the progress that Iran has made in potentially producing a nuclear weapon.
“Iran has all that it needs to achieve a nuclear weapon. All they need is a decision from the supreme leader to do that, and it would take a couple of weeks to complete the production of that weapon,” Leavitt said. “Which of course would pose an existential threat, not just to Israel, but to the United States and the entire world.”
