2020 Democratic presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg does not seem too worried about former Vice President Joe Biden’s criticism of him.
Asked about his criticism of Buttigieg’s experience, Biden told ABC News, “Barack’s experience was much wider as well […] I know Barack Obama, he’s no Barack Obama. He’s a rare breed, Barack Obama.”
Biden also told reporters on Saturday in Manchester, New Hampshire, “This guy’s not a Barack Obama.”

During an ABC News “This Week” interview on Sunday, Buttigieg responded to Biden, as said, “He’s right.”
“I’m not Barack Obama, and neither is he,” Buttigieg added. “Neither is anyone running for president right now. And this isn’t 2008, it’s 2020.”

The former vice president also posted an advertisement on Twitter on Saturday, where he compared the two’s records, taking a shot at Buttigieg’s.
“Former Mayor Pete doesn’t think very highly of the Obama-Biden record,” Biden wrote along with the video. “Let’s compare.”

Additionally, Buttigieg said during Sunday’s CNN “State of the Union” that Biden’s criticism is the “typical political attack.”
“It’s too bad, because, you know, so many communities — communities like mine in South Bend — we know that we might look small from the perspective of Washington, but to us, it’s what’s going on in Washington that looks so small and small-minded,” Buttigieg added.
