Writer E. Jean Carroll is expressing a willingness to help President Joe Biden win his re-election bid.
During an interview on “CBS Mornings,” Carroll insisted former President Donald Trump only has political power because of his follower.
When co-host Tony Dokoupil asked if Biden’s campaign had reached out to her to ask about her campaigning with him, Carroll said, “No.”
Dokoupil then asked, “Are you interested in doing so?”

Carroll responded, “I’d do anything I can.”
“That’s a yes,” Dokoupil said.
The interview comes after Trump was ordered to pay her $83 million for defaming her after she came forward in 2019 to accuse him of sexually assaulting her decades ago.
NBC News notes the payment includes “$11 million for damage to Carroll’s reputation, $7.3 million for emotional harm and other damages, and $65 million in punitive damages.”
Trump labeled the order “absolutely ridiculous!”
“I fully disagree with both verdicts, and will be appealing this whole Biden Directed Witch Hunt focused on me and the Republican Party. Our Legal System is out of control, and being used as a Political Weapon,” he added.
The former president also claimed, “They have taken away all First Amendment Rights.”
