Well, it finally happened.

A federal judge just gave a slap-on-the-wrist sentence to a man — excuse me, a “transgender woman” — who traveled across the country with weapons, ammunition, zip ties, and a plan to assassinate a sitting Supreme Court Justice, and we’re all just supposed to nod along like this is normal.

Because attempting to murder a Supreme Court Justice isn’t as serious as… misgendering someone on Twitter.

Congressman Chip Roy isn’t buying the charade. On Monday, the Texas Republican officially filed articles of impeachment against Judge Deborah Boardman, the Biden-appointed federal judge who somehow decided that eight years in prison was sufficient punishment for Nicholas Roske, the man (yes, man) who plotted for months to kill Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

Prosecutors asked for 30 years. Federal guidelines said life. Judge Boardman? She said eight was plenty — because apparently prison might be too uncomfortable for someone who identifies as transgender.

Let that sink in.

A man literally stalks a Supreme Court justice’s home — after admitting he wanted to stop the Court from rolling back abortion and LGBT decisions — and the judge’s primary concern is whether “Sophie” might not get gender-affirming care in prison. Not the fact that this was a politically-motivated domestic terror plot. Not the fact that Roske admitted he wanted a Biden-appointed justice to take Kavanaugh’s place. No, the real tragedy, in Judge Boardman’s eyes, was that the attacker’s mom didn’t initially embrace the whole gender switch.

If you’re wondering how we got here, congratulations — you’re still sane.

And just when you think it can’t get more bizarre, Judge Boardman openly admits in the hearing that the sentence is being reduced because of gender identity concerns. She said she was “heartened” that the attempted assassination led to greater acceptance of Roske’s new identity as “Sophie.”

Read that again. A judge said she was “heartened” that a murder plot helped spark a family’s LGBTQ+ journey.

It would be laughable if it weren’t so dangerous.

We now live in a country where a judge openly reduces a sentence because the would-be assassin might be “mistreated” in prison. We’re not talking about a parking ticket. We’re not talking about a bar fight. We’re talking about a planned, targeted, ideological assassination attempt on a Supreme Court Justice.

Maryland U.S. District Judge Deborah Boardman—a Biden appointee—is a national disgrace.

She only sentenced to 8 years, instead of 30, someone who attempted to murder Justice Kavanaugh and his family in their home.

Should Judge Deborah Boardman be impeached for her sentencing decision in the Kavanaugh assassination case?

And instead of focusing on the rule of law, instead of protecting the integrity of the judiciary, Judge Boardman treated this like a therapy session — one where the criminal becomes the victim and the actual target of violence becomes a political footnote.

Congressman Roy isn’t having it. He says Boardman has violated her oath, abused her authority, and should be impeached immediately. And he’s not alone. Senators Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and Tom Cotton have all spoken out — with Cotton going as far as introducing legislation to ban judges from factoring in someone’s “gender identity” when determining a sentence.

🚨NEW: Rep. Roy pushes to IMPEACH a federal judge after she based her sentencing decision on Justice Kavanaugh’s attempted assassin’s ‘GENDER IDENTITY.’

Because what happens when “identity” overrides justice? What happens when your biology, your politics, or your pronouns start tipping the scales of the legal system?

You get a country where attempted murder becomes a “healing moment.”

You get a judiciary that bends over backwards to coddle criminals based on progressive identity politics.

And you get a legal system that punishes your beliefs harder than it punishes actual threats to democracy.

This isn’t just about one judge. It’s about the entire ideological rot that’s crept into our courts — where your pronouns matter more than your actions, and the bench becomes a pulpit for woke rehabilitation experiments.

FOX NEWS ALERT: Biden-appointed federal Judge Deborah Boardman slapped Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s tr*nsgender would-be ass*ssin, Nicholas Roske (aka Sophie), with a mere 8 years in prison on Friday—while repeatedly calling HIM a HER.

If Republicans don’t act swiftly, boldly, and without apology, this won’t be the last time a politically-motivated would-be assassin walks away with less than a decade behind bars — and a standing ovation from the very institutions that were supposed to defend justice.

Welcome to Leftist America, where justice is blind… but only when it identifies that way.
