A Michigan construction worker is sharing his side of the story after a heated exchange with former Vice President Joe Biden.

Jerry Wayne appeared on “Fox & Friends” on Wednesday where he recounted the series of events that took place during his encounter with the Democratic front-runner the previous day.

Wayne —a construction worker at the Fiat-Chrysler auto plant currently being built in Detroit, Michigan— claims Biden “kind of went off the deep end” when he questioned him about his intent to ban assault rifles.

Although Wayne insists he was respectful, the two men ultimately ended up in a shouting match after the construction worker voiced his concerns about Biden’s stance.

In fact, the most highlighted point in the argument occurred when Biden told Wayne he was “full of s**t,” as previously reported on IJR.

“I thought I was pretty articulate and respectful. I didn’t try to raise any feathers,” Wayne said. “He kind of just went off the deep end.”

“Once he got caught in a lie, I kind of wanted to ask him why he wanted to take our long arms rather than the handguns,” Wayne continued. “To me, that’s very skeptical. If you care about the human life, wouldn’t you want to go after the tool that’s used the most.”

Check out Wayne interview:

Wayne’s response follows reports about his exchange with Biden. When the two crossed paths, Wayne accused Biden of attempting to take away his guns.

“You are actively trying to end our Second Amendment rights and take away our guns,” Wayne said.

Biden fired back saying, “You’re full of s**t,” insisting he supports the Second Amendment.

Check out the heated exchange below:

Over the past few days, Biden’s support and endorsements have surged. In the wake of his exchange with Wayne, Fox News contributor Donna Brazile even defended his stance applauding him for his passion for what he believes in.

“I think he gained hundreds of votes. He’s a man of passion,” Brazile said.

Multiple gun control groups have endorsed Biden. On Monday, the Newton Action Alliance endorsed Biden, saying his “support for gun violence prevention has never wavered.”
