Singer Neil Diamond is joining a growing list of celebrities encouraging people to stay home and practice social distancing.
In a tweet on Saturday night, Diamond released a fire-side video of him with his dog singing his hit song “Sweet Caroline” with a little change to the lyrics due to the ongoing global pandemic.
“I know we’re going through a rough time right now, but I love ya, and I think maybe if we sing together, we’ll feel just a little bit better,” Diamond said.
Then he sang “Sweet Caroline” but changed some of the lyrics:
“Hands … washing hands. Reaching out, don’t touch me, I won’t touch you.”

A variety of celebrities in recent days have released videos encouraging people to stay home as the coronavirus has led several countries to take drastic measures to contain the spread of the virus.
Last week, former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger posted a video on Twitter of him with his miniature horse and donkey urging Americans to say home.
Reality star Kylie Jenner also joined in after the Surgeon General, Jerome Adams, asked social media influencers to encourage Americans to stay home and practice social distancing.
And, “Wonder Woman” star Gal Gadot released a montage of several Hollywood actors singing John Lennon’s “Imagine” in an attempt to raise peoples’ spirits.
