President Donald Trump aired a number of grievances during a Monday appearance in Minnesota as the Democrats prepared to kick off their makeshift convention.
While many of his grievances were against his typical foes, Trump also took time to attack Fox News, with which he’s developed a love-hate relationship.
The president alleged, “Fox, you know Fox now puts on more Democrats just about than they do Republicans. They have certainly changed a lot. Fox has changed a lot. They’re probably turning off right now, as I speak but, see, I don’t care. I tell the truth.”
Trump added, “One of the biggest differences between this year and four years ago, is Fox — Fox is like from a different planet. And too bad.”
The president also said that if he loses in November, Fox and every other media outlet will go “down the tubes,” saying, “They’ll all be bust, they’ll all be gone. I can tell you that. Nobody’s gonna wanna cover sleepy Joe. We’ll end up with one very boring socialist country that’ll go to Hell.”

Trump’s attacks on Fox News are common, but they have mostly been relegated to his Twitter feed.
On Sunday, the president wrote on Twitter that “Fox News is not watchable during weekend afternoons.”
In late July, he tweeted, “It is AMAZING in watching Fox News how different they are from four years ago. Not even watchable. They totally forgot who got them where they are!”
Trump has also bemoaned the loss of former Fox News CEO Roger Ailes, who was pushed out after an avalanche of sexual harassment allegations against him became public. In mid-May, Trump tweeted, “Fox News is no longer the same. We miss the great Roger Ailes. You have more anti-Trump people, by far, than ever before. Looking for a new outlet!”
