Donald Trump Jr., 47, is set to marry socialite Bettina Anderson, the eldest son of President Donald Trump, announced Monday at the White House.
“I’m not usually at a loss for words, because I’m usually doing the ranting and raving really well,” Donald Jr. said. “I want to thank Bettina for that one word: ‘Yes.’”
According to PEOPLE, Anderson shared her own excitement, saying, “This has been the most unforgettable weekend. I get to marry the love of my life, and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. Thank you.”
The announcement comes after several months of speculation surrounding the couple, who began dating around June 2024.
Donald Jr. was previously married to Vanessa Trump for 12 years before their divorce in 2018. The couple shares five children: Kai, 18; Donald III, 16; Tristan, 14; Spencer, 13; and Chloe, 11.
After his divorce, Donald Jr. was engaged to Kimberly Guilfoyle in 2020, though they reportedly split in December 2024, around the same time he began dating Anderson. Guilfoyle later became U.S. ambassador to Greece.
Trump Jr. and Anderson have been publicly spotted together several times, including a brunch date in August 2024 and her birthday dinner in Palm Beach, Florida, in December 2024.
Anderson also joined Donald Jr. at the family’s New Year’s Eve celebration at Mar-a-Lago and attended President Trump’s inauguration in January 2025. A source told PEOPLE in February 2025, “Bettina seems great for him.”
Anderson is actively involved in philanthropy, supporting the Hope for Depression Research Foundation, which funds mental health research, and leading Florida conservation efforts through Project Paradise. She also volunteers weekly with the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County, highlighting her commitment to community service.
With their engagement now official, the couple appears poised to embark on a new chapter together, marked by a high-profile mix of family, politics, and philanthropy.
