Donald Trump Jr. has announced the launch of Trump Mobile. The new service will use AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile USA to offer 5G service to its customers. The announcement was made Monday morning at Trump Tower in New York City, Mediaite reported.
“With Trump Mobile, we’re gonna be introducing an entire package of products that people can come — they can get telemedicine on their phone for one flat monthly fee, roadside assistance in their cars, unlimited texting to a hundred countries around the world!” Trump Jr. said.
The Trump Mobile website is selling “The 47 Plan” for $47.45 per month. The plan includes unlimited talk, text, and data plus free international calling to over 100 countries.
The “T1 Phone” as the signature device. The all gold-colored phone has a 6.8-inch screen and comes at a price tag of$499.
Eric Trump talked about the new venture on “Mornings with Maria” on Fox Business with Maria Bartiromo.
“You know, Maria, more and more we’re using technology as a company, right, to correct the problems,” Eric Trump said. “Obviously, Truth Social was to correct freedom of speech, right? I mean [President Donald Trump] lost his throughout the political process. Obviously, crypto — and we have the biggest projects in crypto — was to crack another problem, which is the fact that they were de-banking all conservatives. I was the most canceled person probably in the history of the country. And now we’re doing Trump Mobile. And Trump Mobile is going to revolutionize kind of cellphones, mobile calling. We’re going to do it better. We’re gonna do it safer.”
The Verge pointed out a possible issue with the new Trump-owned business.
“Trump launching a mobile network could have complications. For one, the question of how FCC chairman Brendan Carr will handle regulating a network owned by his boss’ family,” the report read.
