The owner of X, formerly Twitter, and billionaire Elon Musk offered a harsh takeaway of the pop-rock band Green Day’s decision to bash MAGA supporters during its New Year’s Eve performance.

Musk responded to a report on the performance by Not the Bee on X, stating, “Green Day goes from raging against the machine to milquetoastedly raging for it.”
The band changed the lyrics in its song “American Idiot” to “I’m not a part of the MAGA agenda” while performing on “Ryan Seacrest’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.”

Despite Green Day’s continued opposition to what they consider “idiots,” the band’s ability to relate to common everyday Americans was questioned by other X users.
Rapper Hi-Rez offered a lengthy understanding of perception, stating, “I actually remembered the original line in their song said ‘I’m not a part of the redneck agenda.’”
After this recent Greenday nonsense I actually remembered the original line in their song said “I’m not a part of the redneck agenda”. I, at 30 years old only recently realized how stereotyped the southern redneck American has been for decades. Ya’ll have much more patience than…

“I, at 30 years old only recently realized how stereotyped the southern redneck American has been for decades,” he continued.
He then went on to praise their “patience” and continued trust in “God’s plan.”
Hi-Rez also noted, “I realized later in my life after making many redneck friends that these people are probably the nicest in the whole country TO ALL RACES.”
He concluded that this is, “Unlike most of these major city dwellers that ACT virtuous but are just virtue signaling most of the time.”
Green Day is known for touring mainstream mall stores like Hot Topic, wearing eyeliner, and being anti-war despite bashing Former President Donald Trump, who negotiated peace in the Middle East (via the Abraham Accords) during his term in office.
Green Day hasn’t been relevant in decades. Nobody cares what they think!

They’re only going woke and attacking Trump now because they’re past their prime and desperate for attention.
I won’t be giving it to them. I’ll be listening to Kid Rock instead! pic.twitter.com/6zUUVYel3j
Best Selling author Nick Adams posted, “Green Day hasn’t been relevant in decades.”

Who the hell is Green Day? I wouldn’t know any of their songs if I tripped over them. If it’s not Hank Jr, George Strait, Jason Aldean etc I’m not listening. #Trump2024NowMorethanEver
