About Amalthea

En la mitología griega, Amalthea o Amaltheia es la figura más comúnmente identificada como la nodriza de Zeus durante su infancia. Se la describe ya sea como una ninfa que cría al niño con la leche de una cabra o, en algunos relatos desde el período helenístico en adelante, como la propia cabra.
