Bulls Rebuild Stumbles From 2020 Draft Picks

The Bulls’ recent path is defined by a quirky 2020 draft haul—Williams, Okoro and Smith—highlighting underperformance, while Summer League showcased Caleb Wilson’s hype and Dailyn Swain’s early shooting struggles; Bryson Graham’s offseason moves, including Wilson, Swain, a Claxton trade, Powell’s signing, and Collins’ re-signing, drew a middling ESPN grade. Meanwhile, LeBron James’s two-year deal with the 76ers could indirectly reshape the Eastern Conference and complicate Chicago’s playoff outlook.
