DOJ Investigates Utah, Nevada Election Chiefs

The U.S. Justice Department is investigating Utah Lt. Gov. Deidre Henderson for refusing to provide unredacted voter-registration records and for alleged failures to preserve relevant documents, with ongoing litigation and potential civil or criminal sanctions. Separately, the DOJ ordered Nevada Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar to preserve 2024 election records during an appeal and indicated he is under investigation over compliance with federal record requests as part of a dispute over access to voter data.
