Astros Part Ways With GM Dana Brown

The Houston Astros announced that GM Dana Brown will part ways with the team, with his duties transitioning to assistant GMs Charles Cook, Gavin Dickey and Connor Huff and senior adviser Jeff Bagwell, while owner Jim Crane will oversee baseball operations during the transition. Separately, manager Joe Espada inadvertently signaled to the bullpen, prompting an unplanned early exit for Hunter Brown in a high-leverage moment as MLB rules treat the gesture as an official pitching change.
