Harington Replaces Hoult as Lockhart for Season 2

Kit Harington is stepping in to play Gilderoy Lockhart in Season 2 of HBO’s Harry Potter series, replacing Nicholas Hoult who exited due to scheduling conflicts. Harington had previously voiced Lockhart in the Harry Potter audiobooks, and the recasting comes as production adjusts filming to accommodate Hoult’s departure and align with HBO’s season timeline.
