About Li Yu

Li Yu, nacido Li You, brevemente Li Zhen, formalmente el Príncipe de De (德王), fue un príncipe imperial de la dinastía Tang china. Fue el hijo mayor del penúltimo emperador, el Emperador Zhaozong, y la Emperatriz He, y fue príncipe heredero desde 897 hasta 900. En 900, el Emperador Zhaozong fue brevemente forzado por el eunuco Liu Jishu a abdicar a favor de Li Yu; después de que el Emperador Zhaozong fuera restaurado, Li Yu ya no fue Príncipe Heredero pero permaneció como un hijo favorecido.
