Brewers bench Pratt amid Mets 10-inning loss

Brewers manager Pat Murphy benched rookie shortstop Cooper Pratt during a 3-2 loss to the Mets for not bunting and for failing to hustle on a bloop single, signaling that effort and focus are non-negotiable in Milwaukee. Pratt apologized and Murphy emphasized the message is for the whole team, with the benching intended to build accountability and long-term improvement.
