Un rompecabezas es un juego, problema o juguete que pone a prueba el ingenio o el conocimiento de una persona. En un rompecabezas, se espera que el solucionador una las piezas de manera lógica, para encontrar la solución del rompecabezas. Hay diferentes géneros de rompecabezas, como crucigramas, rompecabezas de búsqueda de palabras, rompecabezas numéricos, rompecabezas relacionales y rompecabezas lógicos. El estudio académico de los rompecabezas se llama enigmatología.
