Falcons DE Pearce Jr. Eight-Game Suspension Expanded

The NFL has suspended Falcons edge James Pearce Jr. for eight regular-season games for violating the league's personal conduct policy following a February domestic-violence arrest, a move that leaves Atlanta shorthanded on the edge rush and accelerates contingency plans. The Falcons have already added veteran edge rushers Azeez Ojulari and Samson Ebukam as they navigate Pearce's absence alongside Jalon Walker's season-ending injury and ongoing legal and diversion-program considerations in Pearce's case.
