Rangers appoint Jonathan Quick Director of Goaltending Development

The New York Rangers have hired Jonathan Quick as Director of Goaltending Development and Derick Brassard as a player development assistant, forming a refreshed front-office pair under director of player development Tanner Glass to cultivate the franchise’s goaltending pipeline. Quick’s stay with the team follows his retirement after the 2025-26 season, with the goal of developing young netminders for the Rangers’ system, including prospects like Dylan Garand.
