The Los Angeles Chargers continued their frequent roster moves by cutting veteran safety Tony Jefferson, signaling ongoing flexibility with his guaranteed contract and potential return on the practice squad or as a free agent after a productive 2025 campaign. In the same wave of adjustments, they released second-year edge rusher Kyle Kennard and traded cornerback Avery Smith, reflecting a day of broader reshuffling around the roster.
