More than 100 illegal migrants were arrested during a Sunday morning raid of a Colorado nightclub infested with gang activity, according to federal officials.

In one of the latest moves to combat illegal migrant criminal activity, an underground nightclub in Colorado Springs, Colorado, was raided in a joint operation by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Trump administration announced. In addition to the arrest of over 100 illegal migrants, drugs and weapons were also seized.

During a press briefing Monday morning, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the club had been frequented by Tren de Aragua gang bangers.

“In the early Sunday morning hours, [the Department of Justice] and DHS together launched a joint raid of an illegal alien underground nightclub used by Tren de Aragua in Colorado Springs, Colorado,” Leavitt said. “DHS took more than 100 illegal aliens into custody, and many drugs and weapons were also seized.”

This morning @DEAHQ apprehended over 100 illegal aliens at an underground night club frequented by Tda and MS-13 terrorists. Cocaine, meth, and pink cocaine was seized. 2 people were also arrested on existing warrants.

Video released by the DEA shows law enforcement personnel in military-grade gear surrounding the nightclub at around 3:45 a.m. local time, ordering patrons inside to leave with their hands up. Cocaine, meth and pink cocaine were among the drugs seized, according to a statement from Attorney General Pam Bondi.

President Donald Trump, releasing footage of the Colorado Springs raid on social media, said those arrested were drug dealers, murderers and violent criminals, and he took a swipe at the judges who “don’t want to send them back.”

“A big Raid last night on some of the worst people illegally in our Country — Drug Dealers, Murderers, and other Violent Criminals, of all shapes and sizes, and Judges don’t want to send them back to where they came from,” the president said in his Truth Social post. “If we don’t win this battle at the Supreme Court, our Country, as we know it, is FINISHED! It will be a Crime ridden MESS. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

News of the raid came just hours after the Trump administration touted the results of Operation Tidal Wave, an enormous multi-agency operation in Florida that took nearly 800 illegal migrants into custody. A White House fact sheet shared with the Daily Caller News Foundation said the operation has apprehended 780 illegal migrants in four days, including MS-13 members, murders, rapist drug traffickers and human rights abusers.

The Denver metro area has become rife with reports of illegal migrant crime in recent time, particularly regarding members of Tren de Aragua.

Colorado Springs is roughly one hour south of Aurora, a Denver suburb where Tren de Aragua gang bangers allegedly took over an entire apartment complex in 2024 and used the property to further facilitate their criminal enterprise. The apartment was allegedly used by criminals to kidnap and torture a local couple while their home was robbed.

In the first 100 days of the Trump administration, migrant crossings along the southern border have fallen 99.99% and more than 135,000 illegal migrants have been deported, according to the White House fact sheet. The Trump administration touted these results and other major raids during its White House press briefing Monday morning.

“President Trump and our entire administration are grateful for the courageous law enforcement officers who are putting their lives on the line every single day to protect their fellow Americans and to keep our country safe,” Leavitt said. “After four years of being vilified and hamstrung by the Biden administration, heroic [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] and [Customs and Border Protection] officers finally have a president who has their backs and is allowing them to do the jobs they signed up to do.”
