Jillian Michaels isn’t just known for having starred on the “Biggest Loser” weight loss show, she is also a fitness guru who is speaking out against weight loss drugs like Ozempic.

According to Fox News, she recently noted, “If it was the easy way out, I would recommend it.”

But she also issued a warning, “Every medication, whether it’s antibiotics or vaccines, have a cost-benefit analysis. They all have side effects.”

“So, when we look at Ozempic and all of those drugs there are many side effects from extremely nefarious to just absolutely s—ty, no pun intended,” she added.

Current side effects linked to the popular drug include pancreatitis, kidney failure and gallbladder problems.

Michaels also described, “We’re starting to hear about ‘Ozempic face,’ which is accelerated facial aging, hair loss.”

In addition to these concerning factors, she also explained, “You can never get off these drugs.”

“If you do get off of them, all of the meta-analysis shows us that you will gain all the weight back, and then some, two-thirds of it within the first year,” she continued.

Furthermore, Ozempic seems to only work for a limited time. She said, “You will plateau on Ozemipc. It will stop working right around the 18-month to two-year mark.”

“It’s going to stop working,” she declared.

Then she asked, “Now what are you going to do? Because now you’re literally beholden to it. It’s expensive. Insurance isn’t going to cover it forever. Are you going to be on it forever?”

Ozempic was originally approved by the FDA to treat Type-2 diabetes, not function as a weight loss drug.

Michaels continues to advocate for healthy lifestyle changes that prove there are no cutting corners when seeking good health.

She said, “I’m going to tell you that if you can find a way to eat less food without these drugs, you will lose weight, and [there] will be nothing but upside.”

“Instead of all the negative side effects, you will have a list of positive side effects from improved cognitive function, improved heart health, improved hormone balance and on and on and on,” she concluded.
