Former Georgia Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan (R) is laying into former President Donald Trump’s moral character.
During a segment on CNN Monday night, Duncan — a critic of the 45th president — argued Republicans have a warning about their 2024 presidential choices.
“As a Republican, the dashboard is going off with lights and bells and whistles telling us all the warning things we need to know,” he said.
Duncan went on, “91 indictments, fake Republican, $8 trillion worth of debt. Everything we need to see to not choose him as our nominee.”
“Including the fact that he’s got the moral compass of more like an axe murderer than a president,” he added.
Finally, Duncan stated, “We need to do something right here right now. This is either our pivot point or last gasp as Republicans.”

Trump is facing 91 indictments and he has denied wrongdoing in every instance.
On Thursday, he surrendered to authorities in Georgia and had a mug shot taken.

Some conservative commentators have suggested the image will actually help Trump politically.
And despite the indictments, polls show he is the front-runner for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.
According to FiveThirtyEight’s average of polls, Trump receives 53.9% of the primary vote, while Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) comes in second place with 13.1%.
