Fox News announced that it will be hosting President Donald Trump‘s first televised town hall meeting ahead of his 2020 re-election.
On Friday, Fox News Media president Jay Wallace released a statement detailing the upcoming town hall meeting.
According to a Fox News press release, the town hall will be co-moderated by Special Report host Bret Baier and The Story host Martha MacCallum.
“We are pleased to host incumbent President Donald Trump for his first town hall of the 2020 election cycle,” Wallace said in the statement. ‘“As Americans continue deliberating their choice for president, Fox News Channel is proud to provide a platform for candidates across the political spectrum to inform the public on their stances.”
The town hall will take place at Scranton Cultural Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania. This event will be Trump’s first town hall of the presidential election season.
The town hall meeting will air on Thursday, March 5, at 6:30 p.m. ET. The broadcast will also re-air later that evening at 11 p.m. ET.
