President Joe Biden is getting some good news on the polling front for the first time in a while.
On Wednesday, a Fox News poll found him leading former President Donald Trump in a head-to-head match-up 50%-48%.
The network’s Bret Baier noted the result is within the margin of error, but noted it was the first time since Oct. 2023 that the 46th president held the lead in his network’s polling.
He pointed out 68% of registered voters said the “future of democracy” was “extremely” important to how they plan to vote, followed by the economy at 66%, “stability/normalcy” at 58%, immigration at 52%, and health care at 52%, and abortion at 47%.

In a post on Truth Social Thursday morning, the former president wrote, “FoxNews Polls are always the worst for me. They have been from the beginning, and always will be!”
The poll comes weeks after Trump was found guilty of falsifying business records to cover up an encounter with adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 election.
Additionally, RealClearPolitics’ average of polls has found Trump’s lead over Biden shrink from over two percentage points to .5 points.
