George Conway is vocal about who he wants to win the Democratic nomination in the 2020 presidential election.
Sharing a screenshot of his donation on Twitter late Tuesday, Conway donated the maximum amount to former Vice President Joe Biden’s campaign — a tweet he pinned at the top of his account. The donation was $2,800.
New York Magazine Washington Correspondent Olivia Nuzzi reported that Conway told her of his donation to Biden, “Because the nation can’t afford four more years with a megalomaniacal moron in the White House.”
Conway’s support for Biden comes as the former vice president, of the delegates counted so far from Super Tuesday, has multiple victories in some of the states including Texas, which is the second-largest state for the number of delegates at stake on Super Tuesday.

Aside from his donation, Conway also retweeted an op-ed written by MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough in The Washington Post published mid-February expressing his support of Biden. The article is titled, “No matter how this race ends, I’m proud of Joe Biden.”
The article concludes, “Like that gravely ill father comforting his sons so many years ago, millions of Americans do not need to see how this political race ends to know that they are already proud of Joe Biden. And you can put me at the top of that list.”
Conway hasn’t been shy in expressing his strong disapproval of President Donald Trump, despite his wife Kellyanne Conway working as the counselor to the president. Kellyanne Conway has dismissed her husband’s previous criticism of her boss.
