Fox’s Greg Gutfeld said Wednesday evening on “The Five” that El Salvador has become the Democrat Party’s new “Epstein Island” as lawmakers continue visiting the country to support bringing back illegal migrant Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia.

Democrats have recently ramped up calls to bring back Abrego Garcia after he was deported to El Salvador’s mega-prison by the Trump administration in March, with some lawmakers traveling to the country to visit him. While discussing the issue and Democratic rhetoric that Abrego Garcia’s deportation sets a precedent for all migrants in the U.S., Gutfeld said the party “always” ramps up their pushback.

“That’s what they always say about everything. And yet they’re the ones that are always pushing and oppressing us, wanting to experiment on kids. What’s next after that?” Gutfeld asked. “El Salvador has become the Democrats’ new Epstein Island. Instead of getting a massage from a sex worker, they’re getting photo ops with their pimp.”

“If they keep flocking to El Salvador, they’re just going to incentivize us to send more illegals there, because then it’s basically a twofer,” Gutfeld said. “The illegals go there, and then so do the Democrats. So just keep doing it nonstop. Keep them busy. The Dems are demanding a solution to a problem that they created. They lost that privilege.”

Democrat Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen took a taxpayer-funded trip to El Salvador on April 16 in hopes of meeting with Abrego Garcia. Although initially turned away by the government, Van Hollen was eventually seen sitting with the illegal migrant and defended his meeting in a later Fox News interview.

Following Van Hollen’s visit, four more Democrat congressional lawmakers traveled to El Salvador to demand Abrego Garcia be returned to the United States.

Gutfeld questioned the party’s logic on vetting illegal migrants, asking fellow co-host and former Democrat Rep. Harold Ford Jr. if there was anyone his party “won’t defend.”

“Their solution is designed to be impossible. You can’t vet everybody. They claim that you have to vet each deportation, something they never asked of Obama, yet they believe that vetting those that came in is somehow inhumane,” Gutfeld said. “So how is vetting when somebody coming in is an injustice and vetting when they leave is justice?”

“When if you had vetted at the beginning, we wouldn’t be having this discussion, and I would be home getting a massage from Andre, who is from Guatemala. Are there any bad guys, I wonder, Harold, that the Dems won’t defend? Is Jeffrey Dahmer actually an environmentalist who was reducing our carbon footprint? Was Charles Manson kind of like a misunderstood defender of family values? Was Bin Laden a Saudi influencer and doting grandfather?” Gutfeld asked.

In April, Abrego Garcia’s case reached the Supreme Court after an Obama-appointed judge demanded the Trump administration bring him back from El Salvador. While the administration admitted in its original filing that Abrego Garcia was deported due to an administrative error, it argued he should remain in the foreign country due to his alleged ties to MS-13.

Documents later released by the Department of Justice show that local law enforcement had evidence dating back to 2019 supporting the gang allegations. On April 10, the Supreme Court ordered the Trump administration to “facilitate” Abrego Garcia’s “release from custody in El Salvador” and “ensure that his case is handled as it would have been” prior to deportation.
