Legal analyst Gregg Jarrett called President Joe Biden the “worst president” in American history Tuesday on Fox Business, saying Biden “cemented” his title through a “litany” of lies.

With only 20 days left in office as of Tuesday, Biden’s approval ratings have not reached 50% or above since dipping in September 2021, sitting at 37.6% support from Americans, according to average data gathered by FiveThirtyEight. On “The Evening Edit,” guest host Jason Chaffetz mentioned how Biden recently granted clemency to nearly 1,500 individuals. He asked Jarrett whether some of Biden’s decisions were justified.

“No, not all of them are remotely justified, but I love the clips you just played because the litany of Biden lies are truly breathtaking, Jason. I mean, not just lying over and over about not pardoning his son, but Biden lied habitually about his family’s influence peddling racket, his own involvement in it, claiming he never talked with his son about his business dealings, never met or spoke with his overseas partners, that Hunter never made money in China, that the laptop was Russian disinformation,” Jarrett said.

In November, Biden said he would pardon his son Hunter Biden. This, despite the president and his surrogates repeatedly telling the press that he would not do so following charges involving tax fraud and felony gun violations. Many people on both sides of the aisle criticized Biden’s decision to pardon his son. Biden and his family’s foreign dealings were thrust into the spotlight after the New York Post’s breaking report on Hunter Biden’s laptop in 2020.

Biden denied the laptop’s authenticity and the information found on it linking him and his son to business dealings in Ukraine, calling it “all a smear” from Russia in October 2020. The Daily Caller News Foundation first confirmed the authenticity of an email to Hunter Biden from a Burisma executive discussing an introduction to Biden during Biden’s term as vice president. The president and his administration, though, continued to push the narrative that the laptop was part of a Russian disinformation campaign, citing a letter signed by “more than 50 intelligence officers” supporting the theory.

Jarrett went on to say Biden’s “lies” extended beyond his family and said the list is “almost endless.”

“Those are proven demonstrable lies, but he lied about so many other things, Jason. Inflation, the price of gasoline, immigration, tax rates, his own classified document scandal. He lied about domestic violence and COVID vaccines,” Jarrett said.  “He lied about student loan forgiveness and Afghanistan.”

“The list of fact-checked lies is almost endless, and Biden used those lies as he crashed the U.S. economy, opened the floodgates to millions of illegals, all of which I think has cemented his septic legacy as the worst president in American history, bar none. And that’s saying something,” Jarrett said.

Throughout Biden’s campaign, the president and his team attempted to sell “Bidenomics” to Americans, despite polls showing voters were concerned about the U.S. economy and the impacts of inflation. In mid-November, Biden said during a speech that Americans unhappy with the economy were experiencing a “disconnect.” In December, he touted his administration’s economy as “the best economy, strongest economy in the world.”

However, a recent survey conducted by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research found that roughly seven in 10 U.S. adults rated the country’s economic state as very or somewhat poor, with self-identified Democrats largely “driving the recent negativity.”
