Could the 2024 presidential election really be America’s last democratic election?

That was one belief Vice President Kamala Harris espoused during an “I’ve Had It” podcast interview with co-hosts Jennifer Welch and Angie “Pumps” Sullivan Tuesday.

The interview included talking about the upcoming matchup between incumbents President Joe Biden and Harris and GOP presumptive nominee former President Donald Trump.

In a game of “had it or hit it,” the co-hosts asked Harris her feelings about Trump.

“Totally had it,” Harris said. “Had it over and over and over again. There’s so much at stake in this election.”

Harris went on to describe Trump as someone with no empathy who has no concern for people.

“It’s not a sign of weakness to have empathy. It’s actually – that’s the kind of character trait of real leaders, is to have some level of care and concern for the suffering of other people,” she said.

“There’s so many layers to what is at stake. A lot of people have had it” with the Republican stalwart.

The hosts then chimed in their thoughts on Trump, saying he “telegraphs how crazy he is.”

“He tells you over and over again – and on Truth Social at 3 AM in cap locks, and then the next morning on Newsmax. I mean it’s nonstop,” Welch said, to which Harris agreed.

“Listen to what he says, he’s telling you: Dictators aren’t a dictator for one day and then it’s let the people decide,” Welch said.

Again, Harris agreed before saying many world leaders have “real concern” about how this election could threaten democracy in the U.S.
