Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign tried to hit back at former President Donald Trump for calling her a failure.
However, it seems it did not go the way they expected.
On Saturday, Harris’ campaign shared a clip of Trump blasting the vice president, saying, “We went for a person who has no talent, she’s been failure at almost everything she’s done.”
The campaign wrote, “Trump: She has no talent and is a failure. (Kamala Harris is a historically accomplished Vice President while Trump is a jobless convicted felon).”

However, the post did not list any of Harris’ accomplishments during her supposedly historically accomplished time as vice president, and users were quick to point that out:
The moment comes roughly a week after Harris secured enough delegates to become the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee and as polls seem to show a razor-thin race.
According to RealClearPolitics’ average of polls, Trump leads Harris by just 1.7 points nationally.
